Falmouth and The Westcott are an ideal base for exploring the many gardens of Cornwall. Falmouth itself hosts a number of small, well tended gardens.

These include the award winning St. Marys Garden 2 minutes walk away at the bottom of Gyllyngvase Hill and 2 minutes in the other direction (up the hill) to Rose Foxhill Gardens, lovely areas for wandering or relaxing.

v Trelissick – 30 minutes by car or catch the ferry from Falmouth (National Trust)

v Trevarno – 40 minutes by car

v Eden Project – 1hour by car, also accessible by train or bus.

v Lost Gardens Of Heligan – 50 minutes by car.
